Well-being Check-in Tool
Supporting Students at Staines Memorial College

At Staines Memorial College, the welfare of our students is a top priority. Since the introduction of the Well-being Check-in Tool in Term 3, 2023, over 8,000 responses and surveys have been completed, highlighting its importance in supporting student well-being.
The tool is part of our daily routine, sent to secondary students each morning during Pastoral Care Class via an email. This email contains a link to the Well-being Check-in Tool, as well as an online Counselling Referral Form. While completing the Well-being Check-in Tool is encouraged, it is not mandatory, giving students the choice to participate in a way that feels comfortable for them.
The innovative dashboard behind the tool offers real-time data, allowing the Welfare Team to quickly identify and respond to various concerns, from academic stress to personal and emotional challenges. This coordinated approach aims to reduce students falling through the cracks, providing the necessary support when needed.
At Staines Memorial College, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where every student can thrive, both academically and personally. The Well-being Check-in Tool is just one way we continue to uphold our dedication to student welfare.
