Hands-On Learning for Primary Students with Street Science!

Our Primary students got up close with science through an exciting show, feeling the steam and reactions firsthand.

In addition to the explosions, students learned about conductors and insulators and applied their knowledge in hands-on experiments. Year 3 students explored heat conduction with ice cubes, while Year 6 created sound systems to understand electricity conduction.

Primary Celebration of Learning

Primary Celebration of Learning

Our Primary students invited their parents and carers to join them at school for an afternoon of fun and learning. The day started with a relaxing picnic on our beautiful grounds, where families played games and enjoyed each other’s company.

After the picnic, parents and carers moved into the classrooms, where students proudly showed all the hard work they’ve done throughout the year. From colourful art projects to detailed assignments, it was a chance for families to see just how much their children have accomplished.

At Staines Memorial College, we are proud of our strong sense of community and the growth our students have made in faith, learning, and character. Days like today remind us of the wonderful partnership we have with our families in supporting each child’s development.
