International Dance Expo
On Saturday 4th May, the Secondary African Dance Group were invited to participate in the International Day of Dance Expo, organised by the Shayne McCormick Ballet Centre.
Students performed several African dances, and had the opportunity to teach the community how to perform some of the dance moves.
It was a valuable experience being able to celebrate their cultural heritage with the Greater Brisbane community, the group received praise from Jennifer Howard MP, and the event organisers.
