Shiloh Youth Run Term 2 Chapel

We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Shiloh Youth for running our Term 2 Chapel. This amazing team of people presented the Christian message in a powerful and relevant way to both our Secondary and Primary students.

Empower – Guard Your Heart

At Staines, we are committed to equipping our students to live happy, healthy lives. One way we achieve this is by partnering with Freedom Christian Co to teach our secondary school girls about maintaining healthy relationships.

In this workshop, our students learned the importance of setting healthy boundaries and enjoyed participating in various fun games with prizes.

Kindy Open Day

At our Kindy Open Day, everyone had a blast! There was face-painting, obstacle courses and lots and lots of bubbles.

Secondary Students Love Chicken Club

At Staines Memorial College, we are committed to providing students with a well-rounded education.

This week, our secondary students had the opportunity to learn hands-on skills by taking care of our new show chickens. They fed the them, cleaned their living area, and administered de-worming pills.

We are excited to announce that we will showcase our chickens at the Ekka this year. Our students will set up the display and interact with visitors.

Devotion – How To Have Peace

Jesus said His peace is a gift. That means you don’t have to work for it and you cannot earn it. You cannot psych yourself up for it, and you cannot try really hard to obtain it. State of Origin: Non-Uniform Day

In anticipation of Game 1 of the 2024 State of Origin series, our students wore Maroon or Blue to support their team. We also had a Touch Football game between staff and students; students won 3-2.

The other man, who wasn’t as nimble as his tree-climbing companion, threw himself on the ground and pretended to be dead. The bear came up, sniffed all around him, and appeared to whisper something in his ear. The man had always heard that bears won’t touch a dead body, so he lay perfectly still and held his breath. Sure enough, the bear took him for a corpse and left. When the coast was clear, the man in the tree came down. Curious, he asked....
