Year 5 Eureka Excursion
On Wednesday, the 6th of November, our Year 5 students went back in time to experience life in an 1854 goldfield township. Through hands-on activities like gold panning, role-playing, and damper-making over an open fire, students dived into the Australian gold rush era, discovering the challenges and excitement of life in a frontier town.
Encounters with “corrupt assayers” (played by teachers) and stories of bushrangers added realism, immersing students in history.

Primary Special Effort Awards Assembly
On Thursday, 6 November 2024, we held our Primary Special Effort Awards Assembly to recognise the efforts of our Primary students. We were delighted to celebrate those who participated in the Storydance musical, Wakakirri, along with students who represented MetWest.
Secondary Special Effort Awards Assembly
On Monday, the 4th November, we presented effort awards to our students, thanked our 2024 Emerging Leaders, and announced the 2025 Sports Captains and presented them with their badges.
