Staines Memorial College is a non-denominational Christian College, governed by a Board of Directors. The Chair of the company is appointed annually at the AGM of the company. Staines Memorial College is a ministry of Christian Community Ministries Limited.

Christian Community Ministries Ltd is a non-profit company that is accountable to ASIC on its financial operations. Our ABN is
96 105 961 135. Additionally the Board is financially accountable to the Federal and State governments for funding provided each year.

Independent Schools Queensland provide advice and support, for a fee, to independent schools on the possibilities and obligations of funding available. The Board and College Executive seek advice from a diverse range of sources to ensure quality schooling. The Board provides encouragement to staff, particularly the College Executive. The Board confirms staff appointments, approves budget and strategic documents, leads on strategic property plans and operationally sets annual fees and calendar dates. Educational outcomes of students and personal challenges faced by students and their families remain a matter of prayerful interest and support of the College Board.

Matters of College operation are the responsibility of the College Executive team that is led by the Principal. This includes dealing with matters of staff and student discipline. All matters relating to College operation need to be addressed to the Principal. The Principal reports to the Board on matters of finance, policy and the educational and spiritual direction of the College.
